Nevada has experienced four earthquakes since 8 hours, with the strongest achieved a 4.0 size.
The swarm Hit Valmy, which is about 200 miles southwest of Reno on Monday.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) predicts a 27 percent chance on another 3.0 magnitude or higher earthquake that will be beaten within the following week.
There is also a five percent chance at a size of 4.0 or higher.
The 4.0 -magnitude hit at 12:28 pm, about 50 miles northwest of Carlin, 71 miles east and northeast of Winnemucca and 32 miles north of Battle Mountain, according to the Nevada Seismological Laboratory at Reno University.
Nevada is the second most seismic -active condition of the country, rank after California and Alaska.
Valmy is within an area of active error lines, including the FairView Peak-Dixie Valley Fault Scarps and the central seismic belt of Nevada.
The small town is also along the Pleasant Valley error that is able to produce an earthquake up to a size of 7.7.

On March 31, four earthquake Northern Nevada fluctuated in a period of less than six hours, with the largest accessible magnitude 4.0
The USGS detected the first earthquake, a 3.4 size, at 8:03 am et.
A second 2.6 magnitude hit at 12:24 pm and the 4.0 magnitude was detected only four minutes later.
And the fourth earthquake, a 2.9 size, was reported at 1:29 PM et.
While a swarm like this would be felt by hundreds of people, the epicenter is in the large basin that is sparsely populated.
USGS only received three reports of shaking in the area. However, those individuals said that they felt 'strong shaking'.
Because this area is part of the Bassin, the active Crustal stretch experiences, error movements and incidental deep liquid activity.
There is also mining in the region that can activate Quakes.
Valmy is the home of the Twin Creeks Mine and Turquoise Ridge Mine, both substantial gold -producing sites that are managed by large mining companies.
These operations include extensive excavation, rays and material processing, which Can change the stress distribution in the crust of the earth, causing possibly seismic events or earthquakes in the surrounding area.
The Nevada 51 area was recently hit by an earthquake with 2.8 magnitude in February.
The USGS said that the earthquake hit 32 miles southeast of Beatty, which is about 60 miles of the mysterious military facility.
Area 51 has become a cultural phenomenon thanks to decades of conspiracy theories that connect the basis with UFOs, alien beings and experimental aircraft tests.
An earthquake of 5.7 Magnitude shook Noord -Nevada on December 9, 2024.
It was the largest earthquake since 15 May 2020, when an earthquake of 6.5 magnitude hit the Monte Cristo range.
Nevada experiences thousands of micrarthquakes every year, according to Shakeout.
“Earthquakes in the west of Nevada are caused by the expansion that Nevada pulls apart and created while the Sierra Nevada is pulled to the north because it is entangled in the Pacific-North America plate movement,” the site explains.
