A green candidate is exiled for life from her local hairdresser after he had made a sexualized remark to a 19-year-old staff member.
Nicolette Boele, the independent challenger for the Liberal Chair of Bradfield, was banned from the envy room salon in Gordon, northwest of Sydney, after she reportedly told a 19-year-old female staff member that she had washed her: “That was surprising and I didn't even have sex with you,” according to 2GB.
An employee of the salon told Daily Mail Australia that Mrs. Boele was forbidden for an indefinite period of time.
“She (the employee) was in shock and then pretty upset,” the employee added.
“We wrote to her last week (Mrs. Boele) to tell her that we will no longer have her here.”
Mrs Boele admitted that it was a “bad attempt at humor and I apologized.”
“Everyone deserves to feel respected in their workplace and I will do it better,” she said.
Mrs Boele narrowly lost the last election of the liberal former front bencher Paul Fletcher.

But Mr. Fletcher is retiring and the chair is again divided, which means that Mrs. Boele is now generally considered the opportunities that the liberal candidate, Gisele Kapterian, is considered.
Mrs Boele's campaign, which is funded by Climate200, is encouraged by Mr Fletcher's pension and the recruitment of more than 1,000 volunteers.
The small army is encouraged to pound the sidewalks and offer 'Doggie Bandanas to dog owners as a conversation starter'.
More come.
