Primark's boss has stopped about a 'judgment of the judgment' in his behavior against a female colleague.
The discount fashion store said that CEO Paul Marchant resigned 'with immediate effect' after an investigation into the incident.
The company said that Marchant apologized to the individual, the ABF board and “his Primark colleagues and others connected to the company.”
Financial director Ein Tonge will take place as an interim -CEO.
George Weston, Chief Executive of ABF, said: 'I am very disappointed. At ABF we believe that high integrity standards are essential. Responsible action is the only way to build and manage a company in the long term.
'Colleagues and others must be treated with respect and dignity. Our culture must and is greater than a person. '
