Rapper Young Scooter died after he had cut his right thigh on a wooden fence, which led to 'marked' blood loss, said the medical researcher of Fulton County on Tuesday.
The Atlanta star, real name Kenneth Bailey, was originally supposed to have been killed by a Scot wound on Friday – his 39th birthday.
“This injury was not a shot wound,” said the medical investigator, according to Rolling Stone. The large artery in the leg supplies blood to the legs and thighs, and injury can lead to dangerous blood loss.
'Mr. Bailey injured himself on organic (wooden) screens material and/or woody debris after the vault of at least one fence, “they added.
Atlanta's police initially said that he had sustained a horrible leg injury after he was reportedly fleeing them.
Rumors soon spread that the police shot the artist in the incident.
On Monday, the police released audio from the 911 call of a woman in which she claimed to have seen a nude, 'beaten and bloody' woman who were involved in drugs dragged out of a house in the Lakewood Heights district.
The woman who called on the 911 claimed that the woman was seriously bleeding from a head wound in the fight, and she encouraged the police to arrive as quickly as possible.

The call – which, according to the police, was a complete manufacture – seemed to be an example of 'swatting', in which someone falsely reports a crime to the police in the hope that they will respond in a way that is at best embarrassing against the victims and potentially deadly in the worst case.
Audio of the call obtained by TMZ contains a woman who claims to be part of the 'neighborhood guard' who tells the 911 Dispatcher that one house has men in and out for alleged drug agreements.
She also claimed that they were armed and waved with their 'weapons in the air'.
According to the woman on the call, a naked woman was dragged out of the house by a man who then fought her outside, before the naked woman reportedly brought back other men who shot on the house.
The woman who called the police then claimed that the naked woman “bleed out of her abundantly” and needed help.
The story was not very logical, because the caller later claimed that the wounded woman was 'hosted' by the men in the house after she was beaten up, even though she claimed earlier that she had brought other men to shoot at the house.
The caller also claimed that there was a 'child in danger' because the wounded woman had a 'baby' in the house, although she did not say what made her think.
She also speculated that the men in the house might have managed a kind of sex trade.
At the end of the call, the woman repeated the police to get as quickly as possible because of concern that the woman and her child would be injured.
But nothing the caller warned of, seemed to have been true because the police say there were no signs of the alleged confrontation with the woman, her child or recently rifle focused on the house.
The APD said that a man answered the door when she arrived, but quickly hit their face.
They also said that the young scooter seemed to have fled the house from behind while the police were still at the front.
Authorities have emphasized that no shots were fired by officers during the incident.
The rapper, known for his collaborations with future and Gucci Mane, was rushed to the Grady Marcus Trauma Center in Atlanta, where he was declared dead on Friday.

Smith stated that officers responded to a call about a dispute with a weapon in a home, and after a man closed the door on them, they established a circumference. Two men then fled the back of the house; One came back, while the other two fences jumped.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Scooter was the man who jumped over the fences. Smith said, “When officers placed him on the other side of the fence, he seemed to have injured his leg.”
Smith denied rumors that Scooter was deadly shot by Atlanta PD officers.

The career of the Young Scooter got into force in 2012 when he signed with the FreeBandz label of Future.
The following year he released the Free Bricks 2 -Mixtape with Gucci Mane, and a separate mixtape with guest appearances from Gucci, Future, WG and Lil Agrie.
Hours before the news broke out, Scooter's Instagram account was actively placed the birthday wishes of friends and fans to his stories.
