Elon Musk has restored a former technical assistant of the White House that resigned in the scandal – and has now quietly gained access to some of the most sensitive databases of the federal government.
Marko Elez, a 25-year-old software engineer with deep ties with Musk's Empire, including stints at X, SpaceX and Starlink, was forced to resign at the beginning of February after re-emerging general messages on social media.
In them, among other things, he stated that he was “racist before it was cool,” followed to “normalize Indian hatred” and mused about withdrawing the civil rights act.
He was revealed that he had posted comments “You couldn't afford to get married outside of my ethnicity.”
Despite the fire storm, Elez did not stay long. Musk, who led the Government Efficiency (Doge) of the Trump, promised him immediately.
“Err is a human being to forgive Divine,” Musk wrote on X, following feelings of vice -president JD Vance, who said that “stupid social media activities” should not ruin a child's life.
Elez is far from offside.
According to a Bombshell court court that was submitted on Saturday, Elez now works within the Ministry of Labor and is also detailed at the Ministry of Health and Human Services (HHS), with reporting four other agencies.

Initially, a judge and Elez of Treasury blocked Systems because of concern that the federal privacy laws had already been violated. Depicted, the Treasury Department building
On 25 February, he only had -all -read -reading to three labor department systems -only four days after a judge had blocked Treasury Systems for concern that the federal privacy laws had already been violated.
At the beginning of March, Elez was quietly authorized for access to HHS databases, including that associated with Medicare, Medicaid and a national database that was used to enforce child benefit.
He was later stripped of a few permissions at HHS, but not before he has access to data platforms with high deployment that contain information about millions of Americans.
President Trump's executive order who DOGE DOGE with identifying 'waste, fraud and abuse' in federal systems and the modernization of government software was used as the justification to restore the Elez.
The executive order was issued on January 20, only a few moments after Trump had withdrawn the oath of the office and gave Musk radical authority to get technical agents in the federal bureaucracy.
Since then, his team has moved with a breathtaking speed and dozens of engineers younger than 30 engineers such as HHS, the Department of Education and even the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) installed.
Judge Jeannette Vargas of the American district already raised alarm bells in February and bothered by access to Treasury databases after he discovered that there was 'a real possibility' that Elez and others had shared sensitive data.
In particular, Elez had transferred a spreadsheet with personally identifiable information to two officials from the general services who had no approval to receive it – a clear violation of federal privacy protocols.

Trump and billionaire ally Musk, who supervise the Doge Cost-Cutting Initiative, have pressed agencies as part of an attempt to reduce federal bureaucracy and budget

Musk carried out a poll on the reduction of a doge employee of which he said he made 'inappropriate statements'

Tens of thousands of employees are aimed at dismissal from federal agencies that lead to drastic cuts in departments that offer critical social services. Protesters are seen earlier this month at the Ministry of Education

Proponents welcome the employees of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) because they wear their personal belongings after they were picked up from the USAID head office last month
At the time, the Musk team trivialized the incident and noted that the information was 'low risk'. But judicial archives show that this was just the beginning.
The Saturday application, submitted as part of the current lawsuits brought by federal trade unions and non -profit watchdogs sheds light on the true scope of the range of Doge.
In response to increasing evidence, the American district judge Amy Berman Jackson issued a radical order on Friday, temporarily freezing the doge operations at the CFPB and warning for threatening, irreparable damage:
“In the absence of a freezing, the status -quo … There is a considerable risk that the defendants will complete the destruction of the agency in full contrary to the law,” she wrote.
Multiple federal lawsuits are now awaiting a conference democrats, Musk has witnesses about his dual role as head of Doge and CEO of six private companies.
Until now, those requirements have been set by Republicans, who check both rooms and seem to support the Doge agenda.
“This is not a roaming bond that walks around,” Finance Minister Scott Bessent told Bloomberg. “This is methodical and it will result in major savings.”
Trump and billionaire Ally Musk, who supervise the Doge Cost-Cutting Initiative, have stretched agencies as part of an attempt to reduce federal bureaucracy and budget.

In practice, some say that doge usually pursued old Republican policy objectives

Musk proudly documented the work of Doge on X and traced protests on the street as furious left 'deport musk', '' Down with Trump 'and' Do Your Job Congress! '

The involvement of Musk has led to protests in almost all of his Tesla carswinkers throughout the country
The aim is to eradicate waste, fraud and abuse, to lower government spending and to clear the federal workforce of low -performing, unfaithfulness and unnecessary employees.
Trump has said that he is 'very proud' on what he describes as an essential initiative to eliminate the Spie of waste expenditure.
Earlier this month, Trump ordered all federal agencies to draw up plans for a second wave of massive dismissals, and the White House began to revise the plans alongside Musk's Doge last week.
In practice, some people say that doge has usually pursued long -term republican policy objectives, closing agencies such as USAID and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which offer a lifeline to the needy and protection of Americans against conscious leaser.
Tens of thousands of employees are aimed at dismissal from federal agencies that lead to drastic cutbacks in departments that offer critical social provisions, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, which manages health care for veterans, and the Social Security Administration, which sends checks to retired, disabled and widower.
Employees have also been the target of dismissal, including National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which offers weather forecast and climate data.
