White House Pers Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in an interview that it was released on Monday that she believes in 'spiritual warfare' and said that 'bad forces' worked against President Donald Trump.
The 27-year-old press secretary sat down for an interview with David Brody by Christian Broadcasting Network, an old correspondent from the White House.
Brody said that 'in Christian terms' people call people what happens in the US 'spiritual warfare' and then Leavitt asked if she looked at the world through lens of 'good versus evil'.
“I certainly believe in spiritual warfare,” she replied. “And I think I saw it firsthand, especially during the campaign track with President Trump. And I think there were certainly bad powers. '
“And I think the president was saved by the grace of God on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, and he is currently for a reason,” Leavitt continued.
Trump came in centimeters of death when a bullet was that day through his ear that was through his ear that day.
“We are all here for a reason. And I think it is a wonderful thing that took place in our country, “she added.
Leavitt also spoke about losing her 2022 run in front of the house of representatives in New Hampshire, a setback that then put her on the path to the White House, where she serves as the youngest press secretary of the country ever.

“Well, certainly, God has a plan for everyone. I believe it is sturdy and you just have to trust his leadership and have confidence that everything will succeed, “she said. “And when he closes a door, it's because he opens another.”
“And for me that was my conference campaign,” she continued. “I aimed for a congress member and had a great primary victory, as you said, and unfortunately lost the general elections, or I have to say – because it now led me to this opportunity.”
Leavitt, who sought to become the youngest member of the country's congress, lost to the sitting Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas.
She had previously worked in the first Trump administration in the press office of the White House.
“And I would not have worked on the president's campaign as his spokeswoman if I served in the congress and then I would probably not be the press secretary of the White House,” Leavitt said.
“So God knew what He did, I believe, and you just have to trust the process and trust that He works in your life and remains based on the way in your faith,” she added.
Leavitt also spoke about leading the White House press office in a prayer directly for each press conference.
“Well before briefings, it's a bit chaotic and overwhelming because there is so much news to consume and so my team and I are preparing all morning,” she said.

Leavitt said that she sometimes acts as an 'internal research reporter' by asking policy experts – and the president – to interpret the news of the day.
“So I think team prayer is a time to be quiet and quiet and God to ask for confidence and the ability to articulate my words, knowledge, prayer, protection and it is a nice moment to reset,” she explained.
“It's the last thing I do before I go outside and then it just gives me the confidence to do the briefing,” she said.
Until now, the 27-year-old has praised Trump.
Last week Trump said that Leavitt “was really the anger,” and added: “She's beating.”
Leavitt told Brody that she hopes that she will be seen as a “hard worker who wants to get the job done and a good mother and good at work.”
“And I think that question still has to be seen,” she added. “We are only here for two months, David. We'll sit again in four years. '
