Melania Trump revealed on Tuesday that 'love' helped her during challenging times in her life.

'Throughout my life I have used the power of love as a source of strength during challenging times. Love has inspired me to embrace forgiveness, cherish empathy and show courage in the light of unforeseen obstacles, “she said at the International Women of Courage Awards of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Today we are celebrating courage – a power that is based on love,” she told the female heavy crowd.

Dressed in a trench coat with belt-pech and her characteristic Nouspower Hakken, the First Lady made its first public appearance in almost a month. She even flashed a rare smile and applauded the women while they were honored for work.

She did not mention personal problems she has experience, but in the past she talked about her fear when there was a murder attempt against President Donald Trump and her anger about persecutions against her husband.

It was the fifth year that Melania Trump attended the ceremony. She also added every year during her first term of office as First Lady.

This year's Honorees Group included Amit Soussana of Israel, who was held hostage after the attacks of 7 October; Namini Wijedasa, a journalist who describes atrocities in Sri Lanka; And major Velena Iga, who has been a key figure in combating violence against women, sorcery accusation-related violence and human trafficking in Papua New Guinea.

Melania Trump praised their work.

“This truth is illustrated by our Honorees, who prove that love can inspire extraordinary courage, even in the light of vulnerability,” she said.

Soussana, who became known for her candid report of the terrorist acts she ended in captivity in Gaza, was the only Honoree who spoke.

'I was held hostage by Hamas and 55 days imprisoned, 55 days of fear, of pain and of discovering every freedom that I once considered as a matter of course. In captivity I had no control over my body, no control over my life. I resisted as well as I could, but it wasn't enough to stop what happened to me, “she said.

She thanked President Trump for his work when releasing hostages.

“I accept this prize, not for myself, but in the name of all the brave women of Israel,” she said.
