A school board in Massachusetts was caught on a hot microphone who refers to a student's father as a 'pain in the A **' as he argued for the rights of his disabled child.
Gaurav Jashnani stood up earlier this year for the needs of his child to argue for his autistic son with ADHD, only to discover that the board had made rude comments about him after the meeting was over.
While he read the transcript commentary at another meeting of the school committee weeks later on March 13, he shocked listeners with what was said.
“After the meeting was over, this was then transcribed and subjected to the state and to me,” he said.
Jashnani said that in the transcript the board “insulted him” and compared him with a family member that is a “pain in the A **.”
He continued that the board seemed to have tried to seek his social media and called him “one of those” Save our schools “people.”
“Regarding their prejudice to my possible political preferences during a meeting about services for my child,” he continued.
“One of them … casually admits general and systematic non-compliance with elm's as a standard in our school district.”

Jashnani read comments from a speaker who reportedly admitted that the school does not always give children everything they should get on their elm. '
“And I think in one way or another, and this is not a good thing, but in some respects I think it's a kind of understood. That there is sometimes no coverage or sometimes no staff or whatever, “the speaker said, Jashnani read.
“But then there are people who, that's how they come from another community, so he doesn't get it,” Jashnani continued to read and intervened that the sign referred to him.
The student's father also claimed that the board admitted in the transcript that it had sustained a lack of information 'to' distinguish 'the families of the school district.
“We have so many, so many families of children who need so much more, so much more than we give them. And they don't know that they can come in and make a stuff,” Las Jashnani.
“This is how our managers talk about us,” he said. “Managers who allow systematic violations of state and federal disability legislation and then subject them to the State.”
“This is what we now have at our schools,” he said.
“Managers who say aloud that they don't give children what they need,” he said. “This makes me sick, I feel sick.”
“I hear students say they are being harmed in this meeting, I hear teachers say they are being attacked literally – there are not enough staff,” Jashnani said. 'I am a parent who tells you that this district is failing and my child is damaging … I expect better'
But despite the comments, Jashnani said that he did not blame those individuals, but instead made a point that they made in their comments about him; This is about financing.
The comments came from a meeting earlier this year, where Jashnani argued for his child who did not get the right attention.
According to the transcript, obtained by the Boston Globe, the school officials continued to discuss the case as soon as Jashnani had left the room.
Superintendent Portia Bonner said in a statement to the outlet: 'Please know that the district is fully investigating this issue in consultation with our legal adviser. We will inform the community if we have more information. '
Jashnani asked for a copy of the recording of the comments, but Bonner told him that it did not exist, according to a letter obtained by the globe.
In a February 13, 2025, the meeting with the school board, the first presence of Jashnani, he argued for the needs of all children who need better services of their school.
