A teenager drunken driver in Wisconsin who killed a jogger in a shameless hit and run, sent her mother to find the dead body of the victim, the police said.
Addison Bowell, 17, of Menomonie is accused of murdering Ann Seidl, 54, of Eau Claire on Saturday morning in the city of Dunn.
The driver was reportedly intoxicated when she hit the three -year -old mother before she fled the scene and went home to tell her mother what happened.
“The driver of the vehicle came home and admitted her mother that she had hit something, was not really clear what she had hit,” Dunn County Sheriff Kevin Bygd told Weau.
“So the mother left there shortly thereafter, maybe about an hour later after her daughter came home, and she is actually the one who found the victim in a ditch.”
Bowell's mother called the 911 call at 7:14 am, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Office by Dunn County.
The police then rushed to the grim site of the death of Seidl – a ditch from the side of the highway.
“It should be noted that she was wearing clear clothing, including a reflective road safety vest and walked on the right side of the highway when he was beaten,” said the Sheriff's office in the statement.

The bond of the accused murderer was set at $ 100,000 cash during a hearing on Monday and will appear in court again on Wednesday.
Bowell had an earlier legal run-in on March 14, when she was cited by the police for a minor drink, Kare11 reported.
The lovers of Seidl have been left to mourn the early loss of the beloved member of her local running community.
The dedicated athlete almost never ran alone, because her favorite jogging partner was her son Parker, who has Down's syndrome.
The Mother-Son duo was known to link it to an organization called Team Triumph, which helps runners with a disability reaching the finish line.
In every pair through the non -profit there is an 'angel' – who in this case was Seidl – and a 'captain', who was Parker.
Seidl attended almost every local race at Parker by her side, Heather Market-Sullivan of the Race Committee of Eau Claire Marathon to Kare11.

On the message reads: 'If you have participated in an Eau Claire Marathon event, or are involved in the wider Eau Claire Running Community over the years, chances are that you have crossed paths with the famous mother/son -duo van Parker Abts and his mother, Ann Seidl.
'From running her own races (Ann Bq'd on ECM in 2016!) To supporting Parker's journey from the Kids' Run to Half Marathon, Ann is an old ECM Legacy Runner.
“She was one of our most dedicated participants, and we will miss her deeply, both on the track and cheer for Parker.”
Team Triumph has established fundraising to collect donations in the memory of Seidl to support 'Inclusive Race experiences for other captains and angels'.
On the Donations website, the friends and family of Seidl shared how they will remember her.
One beloved wrote: 'Ann was a wonderful example of the love of a mother and will be missed enormously. Parker, the current community is here for you. '
'We have shared so many kilometers together. Bonded about raising boys and having children with disabilities. Parker and Ann have been such a large part of my spring and summer running team. I just destroyed, “another added.
