The wave legend, who underwent an operation only three weeks ago, wrote on X: 'I can't believe this, but a few weeks after tearing my left Achilles, sleeping in a hyperbaric room plus the explosive lifts that my doctors and trainers have ready to play the masters! I can't wait! See you on the track. '
Woods, 49, recently saw his hope for a return to the course when he tore his Achilles tendon while he was at home in Florida.
The 15-way winner was preparing for his last comeback when he felt a 'sharp pain' in his left heel before he went under the knife on 11 March.
And as a result, fans quickly point out that his shock masters claim, of course, was posted on April Fool's Day.
