Thankful video images showed the moment that the flood water rushed into a condo building on the ocean in a lift, while a family with a young child was trapped in it.
The moving incident took place during the weekend when heavy rainfall fell over South Florida, causing disastrous floods about Miami Beach.
Rick Sardana, his neighbor Bruno Barros, his four -year -old daughter Jordana, and a nameless woman got trapped in the elevator who suddenly filled with flood water in the condominium building of Vendome Place.
The two men were seen talking just before the water seeped in the elevator, causing everyone to panic.
“The elevator shook and then froze, and water started to seep, and water also came from the top,” Sardana told NBC6.
After he had seen the water flow into the elevator, Barros picked up his young daughter while Sardana pressed buttons to help them escape.
Sardana, who has been living in the building for seven years, took on it to try to pry the heavy lift door to get Barros, his daughter and the woman away safely.
“I had something like that, ok, maybe today is. That was what I thought because I thought if Rick opened the elevator, I thought it might be like a wall, “Barros told the outlet.

The amazing moment started with the door that closed behind Barros after he and his daughter stepped into the elevator.
Sardana and Barros were seen for a moment just before the camera shocked while the elevator shook.
All four then looked at the metal door while water crawled through his cracks.
Barros then grabbed his daughter when water quickly started to cover their feet.
The hectic father laid his hand while Sardana began to press in buttons inside.
Sardana then hurried to use his fingertips to open the door manually.
The surveillance images ended when all four walked their way out of the elevator and stepped at Water.
“I somehow put my fingers in the elevator, it took me a few times and God knows how we managed to open the elevator door, we came to the parking lot and the water was waist or a little higher level and we just walked on,” Sardana said WSVN.
Barros said his neighbor the 'superhero mode' went to save them all in an attempt.

Fortunately, all four passengers were able to escape after Sardana had picked the heavy metal door with his fingers open

She [Jordana] said I was her super hero, but Rick was our superhero. God gave him so much power at the time, “he told the outlet.
After they have hatched, Sardana said that an employee who works in the apartment said it only took eight minutes before the flood water took over.

The Sardana sports car is a total loss of the aftermath of heavy rainfall, but he is just happy that he and his neighbors are in order.
It took about 24 hours for the flood water to top up the building, but Sardana has chosen to bring the stairs to his unit on the 10th floor since then.
'I don't even feel uncomfortable there [the elevator]It brings bad memories back, “he said.
He also warned the residents of Condo to prevent lifts from being built during bad weather conditions or emergency situations.
“Never take the lift when there is floods or fire, that's a kind of big lesson,” he told NBC6.
