MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' lost last week in the sought after 25-54 demographic demography of CNN's 'News Central'-a scoop since 2022.
The performance, first reported by status, comes months after hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski flew to Mar-A-Lago to meet the then President-Elect days after his victory in November.
That raged many viewers of the progressive network, which was already struck with a pronounced slump after the elections after months of MSNBC sponsored Vitriol opposite Donald Trump.
Songs viewed by DailyMail.com show how the program lost 39 percent of his audience since Trump's victory, and 46 percent when it came to the coveted 25-54 demographic.
Double figures in ratings followed – one that managed to avoid networks such as Fox News.
In fact, Rupert Murdoch's channel is a total of viewers and the most important demo on an annual basis, with the five, its top show, now the highest rated non-Primetime show in a quarter in cable history.
The network also defeated both NBC and ABC in weekday Primetime for March, not to mention the entire first quarter of 2025. That is the highest rated quarter for weekday viewers in the history of the cable news and perhaps proof of a red wave after the elections.
MSNBC and CNN, on the other hand, are due on both fronts – and Morning Joe's lost terrain until his rival during the day seems to suggest that some viewers may still have been alienated by the admitted olive branch of the couple to the conservative.

They insisted that the meeting was only 'restarting communication' – a story that viewers apparently don't buy.
In the total day in March, MSNBC managed 629,000 viewers, 24 percent from this time last year.
CNN meanwhile registered 432,000 viewers – a more subtle six percent down.

In the meantime, CNN placed a less pronounced dip of six percent, at a time when the network is in the middle of turning to a more digital -based operation as opposed to a centered around TV.
The same cannot be said for MSNBC, which will soon lead a new channel with other Networks from Comcast.
That is part of a soon solidified spin-off that will be completely separate from NBCUIVERSAL, which is called Spinco.
Within the same wingspan for the 25-54 demo in Primetime, MSNBC left almost a fifth of its viewers, with 18 percent.
CNN had again often invoiced more success with demography as a 'smorgas board' by advertisers-a decrease of only one percent on an annual basis.

FOX News' The Five has emerged the top show since the beginning of the year and registered 4.55 million viewers within that period.

The results all seem to indicate a preference for consistency, and perhaps some viewers lose their confidence after flip-flopping seen after the election

The results all seem to point to a preference for consistency, and some may lose faith in certain talkers after flip-flopping seen after the election.
