Republicans are not sure of the fate of Doge Leader Elon Musk as an employee of the White House after a bomb report indicated that the richest man in the world could soon resign from his position.
President Donald Trump reportedly informed his cabinet and senior staff that the billionaire would take a step back of his role with high visibility on top of the government reform.
The Tesla CEO will return to the business world soon, Politrico reported for the first time.
Pers secretary Karoline Leavitt called the report 'Garbage' and noted that the plan was always for Elon to 'leave the public service' after his 'incredible work at Doge is complete'.
But Gop -legislers were apparently confused by the news.
“Yes, I don't know he will leave completely,” Huis Republican conference chairman Lisa McClain, R-mich., DailYMail.com told.
“I heard about this and I have heard nothing of the mouth's mouth, so to speak.”
The Republican shared that there may be special rules that dictate how long Musk can stay with the administration.
“I have heard everything, from as a special appointed to the president, you can only stay x -number of days,” she said before she added, “I just give you speculation.”
