The royal family is the target of 35 disturbed stalkers who will probably do 'serious damage' in the last three years.
Protection officials have identified nearly 500 potential stalkers during this time frame.
And the number that forms the highest risk level has risen by almost 50 percent, from 24 during the previous three years to 35, according to figures from Scotland Yard.
The Fixated Threat Assessment Center of the Force discovered that the number of potential stalkers had risen from 433 to 480 during this period.
The potential threats were determined by the royalty and specialized protection team of the metropolitan police, responsible for the protection of ministers and members of the royal family.
In 2023, a crossbow-waving fanatic was imprisoned for betrayal after arrival in Windsor Castle on Christmas 2021 and the police told that he was “here to kill the queen.”

Former head of the Royal Protection command of the DE, Dai Davies, said to The Mirror: 'Unfortunately, there will always be disturbed people who want to hurt the royal family. The difficult task for the police is to determine which of them have the resources and determination to continue with each plan.
'There are probably 50 to 100 people who are currently monitoring them of whom they think could be a considerable risk. Very often these people will be mentally unwell and some will be quite unpaid.
“It is not unknown that these people will be so obsessed that they have written the object of their fixation and revealed their own name and address.”

He added: 'This one [pinpointed risks] are only those who have been brought to the attention of the authorities. There can be much more lurking in the shade. It is impossible for the police to be 100 percent sure of removing all people who may want to harm the royal family. '

She was searched for the site by dangling guards who even paid her taxi cherry, but later held under the Mental Health Act.
