Two primary schools were warned after a masked man chased young children in a park.
Pupils, between nine and 11 years old, played in a wooded area when a man who covered his face with a Balaclava, began to run behind them in the picturesque village of Hallow, Worcestershire.
Hallow Cofe Primary School and Martley Cofe Primary School raised the alarm after the students were chased around 4 p.m. last Friday.
Two men were also seen around the area in a dark colored 4×4, with a local farmer taking note of the details of the vehicle.
Robert Hannon, the main teacher of Hallow Cofe, told parents in a letter: 'A group of children from years 5 and 6 played in the wooded area and was chased by a man who wore a Balaclava.
'A local farmer saw and took knowledge of the car and reg etc.
“There were two men in the car – it was a dark 4×4. The children are all safe and have, despite the fact that they are somewhat shaken, well -reversed under the circumstances.
'Today I reminded for years 5-6 to be aware of strangers and that if something happens, they must get an adult as quickly as possible.
“I didn't want to scare them, but thought this was an important memory.

Hallow Cofe Primary School and Martley Cofe Primary School raised the alarm after the students were chased around 4 pm last Friday
'The children involved have of course talked about their friends, so it is very possible that your child may be aware when they are in these classes. '
Concern was also made by the Martley Cofe Primary School, where the staff has given their own warning for parents.
In an e -mail to parents, the school said: “You can remind your children of the importance of keeping themselves safe in the community, being vigilant and to report to a trusted adult.”
CLLR Dean Clarke, an independent representative of Hallow and Holt in the district council of Malvern Hills, said: 'It is clearly worrying. Hallow is normally a very safe area.
“Everyone who knows everything I would encourage to contact the police.”
The incident was reported to the West Mercia police.
