The cowboys have agreed to a surprising trade for Patriots Quarterback Joe Milton, according to several reports.
Milton, 25, was a striking player at the University for Tennessee and was impressed by limited action for the Patriots during his Rookie season.
According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, he is now on his way to Dallas, along with a seventh round pick in exchange for a fifth rounder.
The move for Milton comes after a shocking claim that the browns and cowboys negotiated an exchange for the old Quarterback Roof Prescott from Dallas. The old Dallas -Back -Up Cooper Rush signed the ravens separately with the ravens last month.
The Sportcaster Bruce Drennan, based in Cleveland, claimed that he had received a tip from a 'pretty damn good source within the Browns organization' that the two teams were reportedly in conversations about the Quarterback.
“I heard that the part of the reason that Myles Garrett was so willing to sign this contract extension, negotiating the browns while we speak with the Dallas Cowboys for a profession for roof prescott,” said Drennan in his BigPlay show.

Dak Prescott only played eight games for the cowboys in 2024 due to injury
“Now Prescott is recovering from a hamstring injury while we speak and he may not be ready for the start of the training camp, but this comes from a few different sources.”
Drennan added that Cleveland Cornerback Greg Newsome II and concept compensation would send to Dallas in exchange for Prescott.
Milton was the back -up of New England last season behind Drake Maye, but impressed by a chance in week 18, threw 241 Yards and a Touchdown in a victory.
Of course, the Quarterback does not have the same pedigree as triple Pro Bowler Prescott, but it is also much cheaper because he signed a Rookie deal worth $ 4.2 million past four years after he was drawn up in the sixth round.
In the meantime, Prescott signed for four years, $ 240 million extension with Dallas in September, with almost everything ($ 231 million) guaranteed, per spotrac.
Yet the team could continue from Prescott, who is second all time in Franchise TouchDown passes, but only has a 2-5 record in the play-offs.
After having had a great season of 2023, Prescott underwent a difficult 2024 when he threw eight interceptions to only 11 touchdowns and had demolished his season due to a hamstring crack.
Prescott was especially sustainable for the cowboys, although a broken thumb in 2022 cost him five games and a horrible ankle injury limited him to only five games in 2020.
