A 14-year-old girl from Bradenton remains missing after a friend with whom she was supposed to have disappeared, was found safely.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) published a missing children's alarm on Tuesday for Surianneys Perez-Sanchez in the midst of growing care for its safety.
She was last seen on March 27 in the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Avenue in Bradenton, a city about 45 miles south of Tampa.
Authorities suspect that she may have traveled to the Pensacola area and could be on their way to Texas.
The FDLE has classified her as 'threatened' because of an ongoing examination, although specific details about its disappearance are limited.
The teenager is 5 feet, 3 centimeters long, weighs 70 pounds and has distinctive red hair and brown eyes.
She also has piercings in her nose, tongue and stomach. She mainly speaks in Spanish.
Both Perez-Sanchez and her friend, Marlen Daniela Cardona-Barahona, 14, were initially not responsible, but authorities did not announce where or how the companion was found.
