CCTV has emerged from the last moments of a tradia before he was shot by the father of his fiancé about a bitter ownership conflict.
Armor Luke Samouel Simon, 60, was sentenced on Thursday to 31 years behind bars in the NSW Supreme Court after he had previously been guilty of murdering Damien Conlon, 38, in 2023.
The court heard that Simon had lured the Irish trading to his house in Oberon in Oberon in the center of NSW on 9 February 2023.
Simon had inherited a home after the death of his father in October 2021.
He had agreed to let his future son -in -law Mr Conlon, his daughter Linda Simon, their two children and the two children of Mrs. Simon go to the main building of the building from an earlier relationship.
Simon was planning to move to a grandma -flat on the Oberon block, which still had to be built when he was served with a document by the couple he asked for leaving the main house so that the renovations could undergo.
Court documents seen by news.com.au detailed the first denial of Simon that he intended to kill Mr Conlon.
Instead, the homeowner claimed that he shot the Irishman after Mr Conlon 'grinned' to him during a fight over the building.

'When I insulted him this morning and I told him, you look f ** ker. I know you are trying to do me. I said I know a scammer when I see one, I am not f ** king stupid. And he smiled, “he told the police shortly after the murder.
“And I said what the F ** K and I brought out the firearm and pointed it to him and say say you prayed.”
After killing his son -in -law, Simon sat on a trailer outside the Oberon house and called the police.
He confessed to a passing neighbor that he “had just killed Damien” while waiting for the police.
“I put two in his body and one in the head. I called the police and I told them that I am unarmed. Don't worry size, you are not a danger. I don't intend to harm anyone else, “Simon told the neighbor.
'Sixty years of hard work by my old husband and they just wanted to take it.
“I lured him here and when I opened the door, I said on your knees and confess. He confessed and I shot him down. '
During the conviction, Judge Sarah McNaughton ruled that Simon intended to kill Mr Conlon, referring to CCTV that was shown to the court.

In the disturbing video that was recorded two days earlier on February 7, Simon is seen the collection of a firearm cabinet from a safe in the laundry of the house.

In an attempt to claim that the CCTV did not indicate premeditated speech, Simon's lawyer claimed that the dissatisfied grandfather took an empty case out of the vault.
Judge McNaughton, however, concluded that Simon would not have dealt with the case with as much care if it was empty.
Judicial documents also described a conversation that Simon had with an IGA employee a day before the shooting in which he claimed that he had found that someone 'sipped him'.
“I'll get them,” Simon told the employee.
CCTV also conquered at the disputed house at the moment that Mr Conlon arrived on 9 February after Simon told him that something had been stolen.
The young father was seen that he dropped his sunglasses while Simon opened the door and said, “Come and take a look.”

“At 7.56 am the deceased was registered on the ground on the front steps of the property,” the court documents say.
“The perpetrator is approaching the deceased, says” Bye Bye Damien “and will shoot him behind his right ear.”
Simon argued guilty of murder and was sentenced to 31 years in prison, with a non-conditional period of 22 years.
In a moving victim -impact statement, Simon Simonas refused to acknowledge her father and asked that he was imprisoned about the murder of her fiancé.
“Luke, I believe you are a coward,” she said.
“You only had one intention in mind when you attracted him to your house and that was that Damien would not live after he entered your house.”
The court also heard on Thursday that Mr Conlon's youngest child still asks his mother: “Why is Daddy dead?”
The family was unable to have an open box because of the catastrophic injuries of Mr Conlon.
Mr Conlon moved to Australia in 2011 and met Mrs. Simon on a dating app in 2019.

The couple intended to get married at the end of 2023.
“We had paid deposits at the location, the church and everything, but unfortunately that will never be,” Mrs. Simon told the Irish Mirror.
'That is the most difficult part, all the plans we had for the future and watching our children grow up without him. We just take it day after day, that's all we can do. '
The mother said that one of her sons is still walking through the house looking for him. “
“There are memories of happiness and joy when we remember the good times, but then it just touches you that all that is gone now,” she said.
