After having spent 18 years in custody, Drugkingpin Tony Mokbel can be on the point of freedom, since three judges decide whether he will be released on bail.
The 59-year-old Gangland figure applied for his release from prison on Tuesday, in the midst of heavy security, while waiting for his lawyer X
Mokbel has not tasted freedom in Greece since his arrest in 2007, after he had fallen famous in a yacht while he was a bail with a deposit of $ 1 million from his sister -in -law Renate.
She was imprisoned after she had not paid the deposit, seized her house and she was subsequently sentenced to two years and nine months in 2008 before lying against a court about her assets.
Another sister, Gawy Saad, has now offered $ 850,000 to Borg to secure the bail of Mokbel and said that she was “certain that he would not do anyone else” when he was asked what happened to her sister -in -law.
Mokbel has agreed to remain what his lawyer said that they were 'strict' bail conditions, including GPS monitoring, an evening clock, daily police report and that he cannot leave Victoria.
He would live in the house with four bedrooms of Mrs. Saad in Viewbank, in the northeast of Melbourne, and she told the court that she would give a company to report him to the police if he flooded bail conditions.
Mokbel's lawyer Julie Condon KC mentioned delays in hearing his appeal, the power of his case, his poor physical health, strong ties with jurisdiction because of his family and 'long -term de facto' relationship, as exceptional circumstances to prove that he must be released on bail.

He fights to overthrow the convictions of drug trafficking, after he had guilty for leading a drug trafficking empire of several millions of dollars, known as 'the company'.
Mokbel was then represented by Barrister-turn-Supergrass Nicola Gobbo, not knowing that she informed the Victoria police.
Justices Karin Emerton, Robert Osborn and Jane Dixon have to make their decision in the Court of Appeal on Friday morning.
Mokbel is currently eligible for conditional release in June 2031 and an appeal to his convictions of drug trafficking will be heard later this year.
