When Princess Diana was worried in 1995 that she would be killed in a staged car -accident, she expressed her fears to the man she trusted most, her lawyer Lord Mathcon.
His company, Mishcon de Reya, used her very bitter separation from Prince Charles, who was completed the following year.
After the princess died in a car accident in Paris in 1997 alongside Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul, Lord Mishcon passed his simultaneous report of his meeting with Diana to senior metropolitan police officers who place it in a safe way. But the note was not passed on to the French authorities who investigate her crash for six years.
The princess's brother and sisters have learned no more than a decade for a decade after it was written. Prinsen William and Harry also left in the dark for a long time.
During his meeting with police chefs the month after Diana's death, Lord Mishcon (who died in 2006) loved his note aloud to emphasize its importance. He told officers that the Diana took and said: 'Efforts would be made if it would not get rid of her due to an accident in her car, such as a pre -prepared brake failure, at least to see that she was so injured or damaged that she was declared unbalanced [in her mind]. '
I can reveal that Prince William, in a remarkable turn of events, has now turned back to Diana's lawyers.

Prince William has dedicated law firm Mishcon de Reya to act for him and his family

The company of the deceased Lord Mishcon represented Princess Diana in her bitter divorce of Charles
The heir of the throne has dedicated Mishcon de Reya to act for him and his family, during a break with tradition.
William is previously represented by King Charles' lawyers, Harbottle & Lewis, in particular her partner, Gerrard Tyrrell.
“William just wanted to hit,” says a source. “He didn't want to continue using his father's lawyers. It's that simple. He wants to be his own husband. '
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace refused to comment, but the instruction is the talk of legal circles. It is said that Harbottle & Lewis has disappointed, who have represented the royal family for decades. Media Law Specialist Tyrrell is one of the most trusted advisers of the king.
In 2006 on behalf of the Royal Family, Harbottle & Lewis performed the news of the World Royal Phone-Hacking scandal, which led to the closure of that newspaper. The reporters had hacked the mobile phones of both Prinsen William and Harry.
But William's movement will be Mishcon and his deputy chairman Anthony Julius, who was chosen by Diana as her legal representative when she divorced Charles.
Julius continued to work with William as one of the founders of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund and was vice-president until it closed in 2012.
William's decision is seen in Buckingham Palace as the newest example of his desire to follow a different path than that of his father.

De Peer, who died in 2006, applied his simultaneous report of a meeting with Diana to metropolitan police officers after the deadly car accident of the princess in Paris in 1997
Of course his legacy of the enormous duchy of Cornwall Estate, when Charles rose the throne in 2022, means that money is not an object.
Galuated on more than £ 1 billion, the estate includes more than 200 square miles of land in more than 23 provinces and William offers an annual income of at least £ 20 million.
“William wants to do things differently than his father and wants to be seen to do them differently,” a friend tells me.
This was made clear in 2023 when William chose to give a large interview to a national newspaper that was published on the day after the color troops. It meant that the coverage of the king's first birthday parade was overshadowed by the declaration of his heir that he was planning to end homelessness.
William's decision to branch his father's legal advisers shows that he is more than willing to also shake up the status quo behind palace doors.
