Shocking images have emerged from a two -legged black bear walking around in the mountains of West Virginia.
Kirk Price, an experienced outdoor person in the state, caught the bear on his only two legs with a trail camera that he set up.
Price, who shared several videos of the bear last September, said that the area that crossed it “has one of the steepest terrain in the Appalachian Mountains” and yet noted that it “had no problem to make ends meet.”
Price told USA Today that he believed that the bear is a man and about eight years old.
He added that he first discovered about the bear in 2018 and said that the animal was then 'smaller and almost doubled in size since originally spotted'.
“At that moment he walked around alone and was not a cub,” he explained. “A cub usually stays with their mother until almost two years old.”
Price said he only saw the bear once, but he and several others have seen him several times over the years of photos and videos taken from his trail camera.
“He is very (elusive) and is rarely spotted personally,” said Price. “He lives in the mountains. Believe it or not, he moves a lot around. He has about a ray of five miles. '

Kirk Price's trail camera has conquered the bear in the wild several times
Price described his only meeting with the two-legged bear in a YouTube video from 2022.
He explained that he had trained his dogs to catch bears. In many states this is illegal, but in West Virginia, hunters can train their dogs all year round.
Training of their dogs is going to drive around until they get the smell of bears. The hunter then releases them so that they can chase the bear on a tree.
When a bear is successfully 'tilt', the hunter collects his dogs and will find the next target. If the hunting season had been, the hunter would tie his dogs before he shot the bear in the tree.
Price said one day while he was training his many dogs, they came on a bear. He said he quickly received a report on his GPS, which shows that the bear was grown.
But when he caught up with his dogs, he saw something incredible.
“I start to go up the hill to where the bear is and as I get closer, I can only tell by the sound that the bear is on the floor,” he said in the video.
'I'm going to do it and I can't believe what I see. There is a bear on his hind legs that run around like a Sasquatch. It was bizarre, “he added, while images were played of the dogs around the defenseless animal.

Adult black bears, who live in most of North America, can usually walk around 30 to 35 miles per hour and are excellent tree climbers (depicted: a black bear walking around Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming)
Price 'believes that the bear was born with only two legs and had no accident by a hunter or another animal.
'I am firmly convinced that he was born that way and overcome all the opportunities. That is what the focus should be on. This bear is really great, “he said.
A two -legged black bear called Pedals was spotted in New Jersey before being killed during a yacht in 2016.

Price said that while he regularly hunts and eats, he also believes in preservation and likes to see bears 'on the landscape'.
“This specific bear is special and I would never deliberately chase him,” said Price.
