Professional golfer Ryan McCormick took drastic measures to suppress his dramatic meltdowns on the course on Friday and chose to stick his own mouth to 'keep himself'.
McCormick has been dropped off from the PGA Tour to the Korn Ferry in recent months and is currently playing at the Club Car Championship in Savannah, Georgia.
After he had admitted that he had trouble mastering his patience on the track, McCormick turned the heads by placing tape over his own mouth for his entire round on Friday, in an attempt to remind himself not to shout and shout.
“I didn't have that funny on the golf course this year,” he explained in a now viral video with the Korn Ferry Tour. 'Pretty angry and angry. So I thought I tried many things, and I thought I would keep myself. So I put tape over my mouth. '

McCormick has still not set the extent and has been struggling this year for form on the Korn -ferry boat
His solution was not enough to help him make the cut, but with the 33-year-old American +1 ends for the tournament, a shot better than his Thursday round, but still four shots back from the sliced line.
McCormick spent the entire 2024 on the PGA Tour, but was eventually exiled to the Korn Ferry after ranking no. 161 in the FedEx Cup classification.
