Lori Vallow Daybell, generally known as the 'Doomsday Cult Mom', revealed why she decided to represent herself while preparing for her second murder process.
Already convicted in Idaho for conspiracy to kill her children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, as well as the first wife of her husband, Tammy Daybell, Vallow Daybell was extradited to Maricopa County, Arizona, in November 2023 on two charges.
Speaking with real crime Arizona, said Vallow Daybell, who is already serving a life imprisonment without the possibility of conditional release,: “I am fighting here for my life.”
This upcoming process was aimed at the death of 2019 of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, who was deadly shot by her brother Alex Cox in Chandler, and the attempted murderous disposal with the ex-husband of her niece, Brandon Boudreaux.
Although COX claimed self -defense and later died of natural causes, a jury was selected for the conspiracy to commit a murder process, with opening statements planned for Monday.
Vallow Daybell said her decision to represent herself and said: 'I am not a lawyer. I have no training to become a lawyer. There is something I discovered when I came to this prison, you know. This experience has been five years in a row, OK.
'I went through a whole lawsuit, you know, earlier in my other state. And then I was brought here to Arizona to face more serious charges. '
The convicted child murderer also responded to how the audience saw her decision: 'I never hear anything of things like this because I am in a room 23 hours a day and we have no access to news.
“So I didn't know people said that, but I wouldn't agree with that.”
Daybell said her choice was also motivated by a desire for a fast process, not only for herself, but for other women who are locked up with her.

Lori Vallow Daybell, generally known as the 'Doomsday Cult Mom', revealed her reasoning behind a surprising legal decision when she prepared for her second murder process.

Vallow, also known as 'Doomsday Cult Mom', had several lifelong sentences in July 2023 without conditional release for killing two of her children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and Joshua 'JJ' Vallow, 7
“There are intelligent, strong, beautiful women who are here for eight years because of family cares,” she said.
It is the same, just like my case, a family period, not a crime. A family tragedy, and they wait and they are confronted with the death penalty for a family tragedy, “she said.
“I know these women. I talk to them every day. I try to elevate, strengthen and help women in this prison, and I think that's the goal, why I am here. '
She described the events of her life as a 'family days' and despite the fact that a jury found her guilty, she claimed that she was wrongly convicted in Idaho.
“It's a tragedy. Families have tragedies. Things happen and there was a Domino effect of tragedies in my life. And that is really sad. '
When the question was asked to work out the 'Domino effect', Vallow Daybell smiled and replied: “It is probably something that we have to save for the next time.”
When the process approached, she admitted that she felt some pressure.
“It's a big case. It is stressful. There are many things, “she said. “There are many legal things that need to be done. We work on things every day. We work until late at night. The biggest challenge for me in this test will be logistics. '
When asked about the possibility of not being found guilty, Vallow Daybell replied: 'I don't think I am here to convince someone. I think I am just to tell the truth. I wrongly defended myself. '

This is not the first time that Vallow Daybell made a shocking request before the process.
In February, Vallow Daybell asked a judge to block Court TV to stream her upcoming murder process in Arizona on 31 March.
Last month, the crowded mother submitted an objection to Maricopa County's Superior Court and stated that the court of the court should be ashamed of asking for her upcoming murder process.
“The court-TV should be ashamed of its nature and request, because the only goal is not to bring people really news or facts, but instead the goal is to entertain the public with the very true lifesties that take place in the lives of real people,” she wrote in judicial documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
Vallow Daybell also claimed that the broadcast network uses Haar and Daybell's images in commercials, making the pair 'falsely characterized, defamation and slander'.
Her husband, Chad Daybell, was sentenced to death in June of the previous year after he was convicted of murdering Tammy, JJ and Tylee in cult-like murders.
The two children were missing in 2019 and their bodies were discovered the following year in the backyard of Chad Daybell in Oost -Idaho.
