The relocation of the British car company comes when companies are struggling with the new trade rules and the Fallout on the global stock markets.
In a statement on Saturday, a spokesperson for JLR said: 'The US is an important market for the Luxury brands of JLR.
“While we work to tackle the new trade conditions with our business partners, we take a few actions in the short term, including a shipping break in April, while we develop our plans for the middle of the longer term.”
