A man was arrested on suspicion of murder after a 20-year-old was stabbed to death near a pier in a resort aan Zee.
The police responded yesterday at 9,411 hours to reports of a stabbing near the Pier in the Esplanade, in Bognor Regis.
A local man, 20, was transferred to the Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton, but unfortunately he died of his injuries in the early hours of this morning.
His relatives are informed and supported by specialized officers.
A 31-year-old man who lives in Bognor Regis was arrested in a house in the city of West Sussex on suspicion of murder today.
He stays in custody, according to the Force.
