Karmelo Anthony, 17, has made a shameful requirement after he was arrested and accused of murder in the death of football star, Austin Metcalf, 17, who died in the arms of his twin brother.
Anthony's family has hired a lawyer who has asked to lower his bond to $ 1 million.
His lawyer, Deric Walpole, spoke on Friday with the local NBC branch, KXAS-TV, outside the prison of Colin County in McKinney Texas and revealed that Anthony claims self-defense in the alleged murder.
“I know my client said it was self -defense. I have no reason not to believe that, but I have to develop facts, talk to people and find out what is going on before I make statements about what I think that happened, “Walpole said.
“I have no reason to think that it was not self -defense at the moment.”
