The phone call from vice-president Kamala Harris to President-Elect Donald Trump to admit that the 2024 election would always be an uncomfortable one.
But author Chris Whipple In his upcoming book – Uncharted: How Trump defeated Biden, Harris and The Odds in The Wilthest Campaign in History – reveals stunning new details about how painful the conversation actually was.
The call went aside, both in the setup and in what Trump said to Harris, so one of her best assistants thought he thought: “He is a sociopath.”
Harris waited to call Trump until the day after the elections, where the chat was set up in the Naval Observatory Home of the Vice President in Washington DC by her campaign chef Sheila Nix, and her Chief of Staff Lorraine Full of the White House.

“But unlike Trump four years earlier, she respected the election result,” Whipple noted.
Harris told Trump to the call: 'I call to admit. It was an honest election. The peaceful transfer of power is important. It is important for the country. '
“And then she added:” I hope you're a president for all Americans, “Whipple wrote.
But it is how Trump reacted to Harris's concession that lifted eyebrows.
'If Trump has discovered a lead on that comment, he did not show it. In fact, the chosen president was strange and free – chattered as if he were on the golf course, “wrote Whipple.
Trump told Harris that she was 'great'.

The book by Whipple, which will be released on Tuesday, also came into why Harris lost.
One of her greatest political issues was that she would not separate herself from President Joe Biden.
It was a 'change' election, but for a majority of voters it was Trump, not Harris, who represented change.
Whipple wrote that Voles had gone to the White House to meet the staff chef of Biden Jeff Wantents to 'in fact ask permission' to break the democratic candidate with her boss.
