Social media users waited with bated breath after influencer and TikTok sensation Campbell “Pookie” Puckett announced she had given birth.

While sitting in the hospital bed before Paloma arrived, Campbell was gifted a designer Hermès Birkin bag as her “push gift.”

She was later shown putting on a full face of makeup for the momentous occasion.

But it was the couple’s outfit choice for little Paloma that had some people scratching their heads.

In a series of photos shared to Instagram, the couple showed off their newborn daughter wearing a beautiful pink cashmere onesie from Hermes, which reportedly cost a whopping £1,000.

The beautiful onesie has an embroidered horse on the chest and mother-of-pearl buttons.

The little one also had a matching pair of £280 knitted socks to complete the look.

Campbell, who lives in Atlanta, revealed online that she left the outfit overnight as soon as she knew she was going into labor earlier than expected.

The couple has become known on social media for their luxurious taste, often showing off their designer outfits for date night on TikTok.

But some people couldn’t believe they would buy an expensive designer outfit for their newborn just to leave the hospital.

“She’ll poop and ruin this outfit just as quickly as the $10 Walmart sleepers. But seriously, she’s adorable.” One person commented on a video shared by the Daily Mail.

But fans of the sweet couple rushed to defend their purchase and congratulate them on their new arrival.

The University of Mississippi graduate earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing in 2013.

Before Campbell became famous, he was a flight attendant for American Airlines.

Jett Puckett is a director of a mergers and acquisitions firm.
