Infrastructure is ready: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on hosting National Games in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday said the state is “lucky” to host the 38th National Games next year.
Dhami also said that Uttarakhand is fully prepared and has a lot of infrastructure for the National Games.
“It is a great happiness for us that Uttarakhand has been given the opportunity to host the 38th National Games and today I met Indian Olympic Association chairman PT Usha. I thanked her and she assured me that the games will take place from January 28 to February 14, 2025. We were preparing for it and the infrastructure is ready. The experiences of Goa and Gujarat in hosting these games will also help us. We will try to do better than the previous one,” ANI quoted Dhami as saying.
The 38th National Games will be held in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025. The full schedule will be announced at the IOA General Assembly proposed on October 25, 2024. Along with the National Games National Winter Games will also be organized in Uttarakhand.
“Apart from proper arrangements for the games, better facilities will also be provided to the players and people coming from all over the country for the National Games to be held in Uttarakhand. He said that organizing the National Games in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand will also provide the opportunity will increase the morale and encouragement of the people here Uttarakhand will get a good platform through the national games. Our emerging players will get a good chance to progress,” the Uttarakhand CM added.
IOA President PT Usha expressed confidence in Uttarakhand’s ability to host the Games after meeting the Uttarakhand CM in Delhi on Wednesday.
“I am happy that the Uttarakhand CM is ready and confident to organize the National Games and Winter Games in a good manner,” said PT Usha.
