Interior designer reveals how Scott Disick’s home style compares to Kourtney’s
According to an expert, SCOTT Disick’s bachelor pad is a stark contrast to Kourtney Kardashian-Barker’s cozy mansion.
The interior designer tells The US Sun that Scott’s Instagram posts at home offer an insight into where the father of three is in his life – and the style he shares with his ex.
Scott, 41, has been giving his followers plenty of insight into his luxury homes lately.
He recently revealed on The Kardashians that his 14-year-old son Mason lives with him.
The teen also didn’t join Kourtney, 45, on a family vacation with her husband, Travis Barker, 48.
“Mason is home with his dad,” Kourtney said during the July 18 episode.

“[It] makes me very sad, but I make the most of every second,” she added.
Interior designer Michele Pelafas suggested that Scott create a “nurturing environment” for his children.
“Scott’s home suggests he lives a busy life while maintaining a high standard of living,” she told The US Sun.
“He also tried to create a supportive environment where he could fulfill his responsibility as a father and be a great father.
“Scott’s house still looks more like a bachelor pad and lacks character.”
Kourtney shares a family home in Calabasas with Blink 182 drummer Travis.
The Tuscan-style mansion cost her $8.5 million and has six bedrooms.
She arranged for interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to join her in decorating.
In 2022, Kourtney and Travis bought a $14.5 million beachfront home in Santa Barbara.
FAMILY ORIENTED COURT
Pelafas said Kourtney’s interior design style shows that she focuses on her family.
“Kourtney’s interior style shows that she is focused on her family and is a caring mother,” she said.
“She carefully curated design details and family-friendly spaces.
“The comfort she has brought throughout her home shows that Kourtney values a close-knit family and their well-being.
“Her homes are about spending time together, cooking, lounging and being together in the outdoor space.”
DAD’S PATH
Scott has always had an interest in interior design.
He hosted the reality show Flip It Like Disick, in which he renovated and sold houses for profit.
Scott owns a $6 million estate in Hidden Hills, which features an infinity pool, seven bedrooms and bathrooms.
His spacious Malibu apartment offers stunning ocean views.
LORD DISICK’S OWN TASTE
Pelafas claimed the reality star’s decor looked stylish but “knew no boundaries.”
But he does share one important trait with Kourtney: they both love luxury and expensive.
“Scott’s Hidden Hills Home reflects his luxurious taste,” she said.
“It has a luxurious finish, which shows that he appreciates the finer things in life.
“Scott has an eye for design and detail with many sleek finishes.
“But he has started creating a fun and engaging environment for his children.
“We see new entertainment areas and amenities, such as a swimming pool and outdoor spaces.
“But it all feels more carefree, because there are no boundaries.
“There aren’t as many details in Scott’s house as there are in Kourtney’s house, and that really makes it feel like home.”
KARDASHIAN AESTHETICS
The Kardashians generally tend toward minimalist decor.
Kim Kardashian, 43, prefers more neutral colors in her Calabasas mansion.
Kourtney’s taste seems to be a little different.
The KUWTK star has owned and redecorated other homes over the years.
In 2010, she and Scott bought a $1.7 million home.
When Scott and Kourtney sold their Calabasas home in 2014, he described her taste as “Alice in Wonderland meets Beetlejuice.”
“When we first started decorating, I just wanted white walls and everything to be simple,” she said Domain Name Home.
“Then I started saying! ‘I’m too young. This is my first house: I want to have fun!’
MOM BRINGS THE WARMTH
Michele further explains why the former couple’s interior styles are so different.
“Kourtney created a warm and welcoming entrance with a custom hall table with candles and artificial greenery,” she said.
“This is evidence of her open personality and love for nature.
“The limestone floor is anchoring and inviting.
“She has museum-quality furniture, including the Pierre Jeanneret chairs around the dining table.
“Kourtney accents her home with special gifts and heirlooms to express her love for her family.
“Her style is refined, but her heart is with the house.
“This form and functionality are also combined in the chef’s kitchen.
“It’s practical and modern, yet she proudly hangs her children’s art on the refrigerator.”
HOSTING DAD
As for Scott’s homes, Pelafas said he focused mostly on “socializing.”
She said he likes “entertainment-focused spaces like a home theater, a pool and large outdoor spaces.”
“This indicates that Scott enjoys entertaining guests, socializing and is outgoing.
“At the same time, he likes practical spaces that meet his daily needs.
“The house is located in a gated community, which indicates that he also values privacy and security out of sight of the public.”
Scott and Kourtney’s turbulent relationship lasted almost a decade, ending for good in 2015.
This happened amid allegations of cheating and Scott going to rehab.
During that time, they had children: Mason, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9.
Scott dated celebrities including Sofia Richie and Kimberley Stewart.
Kourtney married Travis in 2021 and the Hulu stars now have a nine-month-old son, Rocky, together.
ON RETREAT
“Kourtney’s new family brings special touches to the home,” Pelafas said.
“We do this by creating an environment that is simple and calm, with dim candles and modernist artwork.
“She values her personal space as a refuge from her public and sometimes busy life.
“Scott is very focused on his high standard of living and tries to involve his children in that.”
