iQoo Z9 Turbo+ launching next week, confirmed to be powered by this MediaTek SoC

iQoo Z9 Turbo+ is all set to launch in China next week. Vivo’s sub-brand has confirmed the arrival of the new Z-series smartphone in its home country via Weibo. iQoo has also revealed the key specifications of the upcoming phone online. The iQoo Z9 Turbo+ is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. It will be featuring a large 6,400mAh battery. iQoo has already started accepting pre-bookings for the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ through its official online store in China.

iQoo Z9 Turbo+ specifications revealed

The iQoo Z9 Turbo+ will be launched on September 24. The launch event will be held in China at 7:00 PM local time (4:30 PM IST), according to a teaser poster shared by the company on Weibo (in Chinese). The brand teased the phone’s design and specifications on the microblogging platform. It can be seen sporting a curved display with a hole in the middle. It can be seen sporting a rectangular camera module on the back with curved edges.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset will be powering the iQoo Z9 Turbo+. The handset will feature a 6,400mAh battery and a 6.7-inch display with 1.5K resolution. The gaming-focused phone will reportedly deliver 1.5K resolution and 72 fps (frames per second) while playing Open World Mobile Games. It has been confirmed to feature a 6K VC liquid cooling system for thermal management.

Pre-bookings for the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ have started via iQoo’s official China page website, JD.comand Tmall.

While the iQoo Z9 Turbo+’s camera specs are yet to be officially announced, previous leaks suggest that it will feature a dual camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It could have a 16-megapixel selfie camera and is likely to support 80W wired fast charging.
