Full spoilers follow immediately Iron.
Iron has released its bow screws. Are Last three episodes landed on July 1 or 2 (Depending on where you live), with the arrival of the trio that marks the end of the Run of the Marvel TV show Disney+.
Or does it do? The last Marvel Phase 5 The final of the project is full of unsolved plot threads that suggest Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) and the stories of Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos) Wonder Cinematic Universe (Mcu). Throw the Debut of a long-awaited Marvel-Schurk and other interesting facts that can influence the MCU ahead, and Iron Can be more important for the MCU than we realized.
But enough babbling. Let’s look at the biggest questions you have left Ironends and I will do my best to answer them.
Who is Mephisto in Ironheart? And which actor plays him in the MCU?
First, let’s answer the second question, because it is easier to answer: Mephisto is played by Sacha Baron Cohen – He van Borat” Ali gAnd The chicago test 7 Fame – In the MCU.
The appearance of Cohen will not shock some MCU plugs. He was First linked to the role of Mephisto in October 2022 – those reports that came 18 months after Marvel fans had convinced that Mephisto would be revealed as a primary opponent of Hiking. It happened, Agatha Harkness was those shows big bad. Nevertheless, fans longed for the day that Mephisto would finally make his bow in Marvel’s Cinematic Juggernaut.
As for who (or what) Mephisto is: he is Marvel Comics’ it takes on Mephistopheles, the demon Lord that appears in the Germanic fabel Faust. Mephisto is also an alias of the devil, also known as the mythical personification of evil that praises the empire that is known as hell in many religions.
But back to Marvel’s look at Mephisto. The Demonic Entity was first introduced in comic book ‘Silver Surfer #3’ and is a recurring opponent of the Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, and Spider-Man in Marvel literature, although he also crossed paths with Doctor StrangeDoctor Doom, Scarlet Witch and countless other Marvel heroes and villains.
He is best known as responsible for the demise of the marriage of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson too. Indeed, in the incredible division from 2000 comic strip ‘Spider-Man: One More Day’, Mephisto concluded a deal with the couple to save the life of Aunt May in exchange for the formal union of their love that old fans of the Webslinger raged.
In terms of capacities, Mephisto is not surprising one of the most powerful creatures in the Marvel universe. He has all the usual superhuman forces, but it is his ability to form events before they perspire and hunt for the biggest fears of people and/or their trauma that makes him such a threat.
It is the last of those skills, in combination with his enormous magical powers, who enables him to heat reality, and manipulate people and negotiate with them for something they want. Usually the assessment is the soul of the other individual, of which Mephisto becomes the owner as soon as a deal has been formally agreed.
Okay, so what is the deal with him that appears for the first time Iron? He is the person who saves Parker Robbins after the last and cousin John’s failed burglary in the house of the father of Parker. He then convinces Parker to close a deal: Mephisto will give him a dark magic-decked cloak with a hood as a gift to Parker small crimes and make himself rich in exchange for the soul of Parker.
Who dies in Ironheart?
Nobody. The hero of the same name survives, just like the villain of Anthony Ramos in Parker Robbins/The Hood and Alden Ehrenreich’s secondary antagonist Zeke Stane.
In reality, Iron draws a reverse UNO card and brings someone back from the dead. After she defeated the hood by removing the source of his powers (aka his cloak), Riri goes to the exit of Desperitos, also known as the expired pizza restaurant that changed the hood to his hiding place.
Along the way, however, she meets Mephisto, who causes her to become his next victim. Mephisto, whose true form can be seen in an easily missed shot when he taps a teaspoon on the side of a cup of coffee during this long one-on-one chat, closes a deal with Riri to breathe new life into Natalie Washington (Lyric Ross). Remember that Natalie is Riri’s best friend, who was murdered years ago in a drive-by shooting, and on whom Natalie, the artificial intelligence Riri makes, is based.
In exchange, Mephisto gets the soul of Riri. Indeed, after Riri has shaken hands with Mephisto, we are aware of a very emotional reunion between Riri and the reborn Natalie. While the pair hugs, Riri’s right forearm, however, is covered by the same fire-like skin markings that adorned Parker’s body every time he used his cloak and/or forces.
With Riri’s soul now apparently bound to Mephisto, it will be fascinating to see when she realizes that this is the case, and if she and/or Natalie sacrifice sacrifice the second chance of the latter to free Riri from the pact that made this lack of hero.
Does Ironheart have a scene for mid-credits or post-credits?
Yes and no. Iron Has a mid-credit stinger, but there is no scene for final credits to stay ahead.
When the first is concerned, we see the Nu-Dooseless Parker visiting Stanton’s. That is the Zoetwinkel that is a front for the Stanton family, who is involved in the mystical and the occult.
Anyway, when entering the store, Parker is greeted by Zelma Stanton (read my Iron Cast and character guide For more about her), who scored the welcome spiel that we first heard in episode 4. However, Parker immediately sees the facade of Zelma’s, and informs her that he knows about things in the back – that is, the magical trinkets and knowledge in the possession of Stantons. Parker then tells Zelma that he is looking for someone who is more “experienced” and “supreme” than she cuts for black before the screen.
It is clear that Parker is interested in finding one of the two people: Stephen Strange, AKA Doctor Strange or the current Sorcerer Supreme/Master of the Mystic Arts in MCU Fan-Formorite Wong. Given that Strange Off-World is to deal with the fallout by Doctor Strange 2I suspect that Parker wants to find Wong to find out more about magic. Will it be for the right reasons because he has turned a new magazine in his life, or is he looking for more knowledge of dark magic to take revenge on Riri and Mephisto? Who knows – but this is not the last we have seen from Parker.
Will there be a second season from Ironheart?
We don’t know. Unlike their offers on large screen reading, my articles about How to watch the Marvel films in order and the Best Marvel -Movies While you are here – Marvel rarely tells us or the main character of a show in a second season returns once the last final credits has been rolled. The only time I can remember the comic giant was with season 1 of LokiWith a mid-credit stinger with the text “Loki will return to season 2”.
Apart from the Tom Hiddleston starring series, Marvel has only renewed three other shows: Daredevil: Born Againwhose second season is currently developing, and animated offers Your friendly Buurtspider-Man And What if …?. The second year season of the former is also in active development, while the last three seasons ran between 2022 and 2024.
The chance of Iron Season 2 is then Greenlit, then not too high. Of course, 86% critical score are on Rotten tomatoes Imagine that it should be, but the rating of mixed target group indicates that general viewers would not be destroyed if there is no second season.
In my opinion it is much more likely that Williams, Robbins and/or Mephisto will appear in other MCU projects. Williams can be part of the cast for Marvel’s Lang Gerumed Young Avengers Project. Based on the mid -credits scene of Ironheart, Robbins could appear in another rumor Disney+ show called Strange AcademyWho can play the Sorcerer Supreme of Benedict Wong and explore the Mystic Arts in more detail. As far as Mephisto is concerned, given his shared history with Spider-Man, it would be too much to ask a cameo Spider-Man: brand new day? Probably, but strange things have happened.
Maybe you like it too
