Amy Childs was enthusiastic when she got a role on the new ITV Reality series, the only way is Essex. As a beautician who worked in the Bougie city of Brentwood, she had dreams to become rich and famous. And of course, finding her dream man.

This was almost 15 years ago and Amy’s ambitions were helped by the fact that her ‘Vajazzle’ (a pubic area with crystals and glitter) became a national conversation point. Soon she was one of the striking stars of the show.

Her love life turned out not to be that easy. Friends of her even tell me that she was a ‘player’ and very proud of being.

In 2021 Amy finally met her game when she started dating a guy Reality TV Star, Billy Delbosq, who had been a member Channel 4 Relationship shows first dates.

One said: ‘Billy has always been a player. He is one of the biggest players in Essex. He is rich and likes to flash and show off the money.

“He inherited a lot of money and invested in some gyms. He is quite a problem and when he was with Amy, quite a few people in the area wondered what he did with her.

‘She had different relationships behind her and already had two children with two previous partners. But it was really sweet – Billy would just answer “I really love her” on one of these questions.

“But now there are fears that everything is not good that something could have happened between them.”

And that, says a friend of Amy, could be the reason why she was depicted that she looked very thin and without her engagement ring during her store trip.

The clamping brown gym equipment and thick beige sandals that she wore while she was groceries in Brentwood, Essex, only served to emphasize her two-stone weight loss in recent months.

Amy hid her eyes behind dark sunglasses and to be on her misery, discovered that she had been beaten with a parking ticket when she returned to her car.

If that is the case, there was little evidence on Thursday morning when the couple was seen at Stansted Airport on the way to Spain for some filming. While they pushed their children in their buggies to the terminal – to join Lauren Goodger, Ella Rae Wise and then Edgar – they seemed busy and worried.

“They usually seem so happy together,” a friend said. ‘This time they really saw in the dumps, neither of them looked like they wanted to be there.

“It’s sad.”

In addition to canceling the wedding, Amy was deeply concerned by the poor health of her mother Julie, 59, who appeared on Towie in 2011. In April Julie was taken to the hospital for emergency operations after a heart attack.

She told OK! Magazine: ‘I will continue so much when the weight has fallen from me. I am constantly worried about my mother. She is very emotional – she thinks she will still have a heart attack.

‘People think I don’t eat, but I do eat. To be honest, I feel better if I am a bit heavier than at the moment. There is so much going on at the moment – it is the result of pure stress. We have also done renovations in the midst of the parenthood of four children. ‘

It is not only those on social media who are cruel about her. This also applies to some in her own circles.

I can reveal that one snitch on the Essex circuit is gossip about the possibility that weight loss Jabs, where she has been open in the past, contributed to her thin physique.
