The fastest rider ever shot on the island of Man TT course was flown to the hospital after crashing at 140 km / h during training.
Peter Hickman Came from the road only 10 minutes after qualifying on Friday evening after he fell into the famous Kerrowmoar section.

Hickman broke his silence to fans: “Well, this is not entirely how I had planned my TT to go.
“Had a bit of a great -off Friday evening … Nothing exactly like a slap of 140 MPH against the Manx countryside. Havend and bruised, but we’ll be back.
“Very happy to be cared for by Suomyhelmen, Weise Motorcycle Clothing, Five Advanced Gloves and Frey Daytona, the best in the company.
“And a huge thanks to the amazing IOM TT Marshals, the TT Medical Team and the staff of the hospital of Noble.”
The session, the third of the day that started at 6.30 pm, was marked red at 6.40 pm before riders completed a round.
