It only takes 25 minutes to make these delicious air fryer chicken wings
When I first started using an air fryer in my cooking, I mainly used it to reheat frozen foods. It was efficient and I even started to prefer it to my oven. But when I discovered I could cook chicken with it, it became my favorite kitchen appliance of all time.
So far, chicken wings are my favorite meal to make in the air fryer. They’re simple, quick and delicious – and most importantly, cleanup is a breeze because very few dishes are used during the cooking process.
Although you can make any flavor of wing in the air fryer, these simple buffalo chicken wings are my favorite. Keep reading to learn how to make your own.
Ingredients for the air fryer buffalo chicken wings:
- 1 package of chicken wings (about 15 wings)
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Hot Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
This is how you make chicken wings in the Airfryer in 25 minutes:
Step 1: Pat the chicken wings dry, place them in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 2: Combine the spices, sprinkle over the wings and mix well.
Step 3: Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 4: While the wings are cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan, add Frank’s RedHot Hot Sauce (or hot sauce of your choice) and simmer over low heat.
Step 5: When the wings are cooked and have an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees, place them in a clean mixing bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over them.
Step 6: Toss the wings until completely coated and serve hot.
