‘It’s everything,’ shoppers shout as they rush to Asda to get their hands on a viral £28 jacket
FASHION fans are calling a supermarket purchase a “viral perfection” that you can wear in summer and fall.
You can wear the shirt both formally and informally and it also has a trendy print.
It’s no surprise then that consumers are rushing to Asda to get their hands on the Tan Leopard Print Quilted Cropped Jacket.
This stylish purchase costs £28 and is available in sizes 8-24.
Asda bosses even call it “THE jacket of the season”.
And it seems fashion lovers totally agree, as they claim it’s ‘everything’.
Trying out the affordable find, shopping-crazy mom Claire said: “George at Asda is absolutely amazing this season with the leopard print!”
Someone else joined in the conversation: “I received mine today and it’s amazing.”
“I’m just going to Asda, thanks,” shouted a third.
A fourth wrote: “I [found] the viral leopard print jacket.
“It has that quilted feel without actually being quilted. It’s super thin. So perfect for the British summer, but it would also be great to wear in the autumn/winter. So perfect for transitional wear all year round.
“Perfect leopard print.”
A fifth added: “Leopard print girls, this quilted cropped jacket from Asda is everything.”
Meanwhile, a sixth shouted: “OMG I NEED IT.”
The leopard print trend was huge in the ’90s and is definitely back on the high street this summer.
And like other staples from the decade – think baby tees and belts – this beloved trend is back with a vengeance, with Primark leading the way with budget-friendly options.
So if you fancy channelling your inner Scary Spice with a polka dot style, you’re in luck, as Asda has a huge range of fashion items to suit all your needs.
In addition to the viral jacket, the supermarket also offers a button-up vest (which is already sold out online), a matching lounge set and a selection of dresses.
Elsewhere on the high street, a pair of denim shorts in the trendy print were hailed as “the perfect buy for summer” at Primark.
Fashionistas are also loving the new low-rise maxi skirt, which costs just £14, and the £10 wide-leg trousers that are described as “super comfortable”.
Additionally, shoppers can also score a maxi dress for £16, which is perfect for summer nights out abroad.
And a £16 leopard print and beaded bag has been named the best accessory the store has ever released.
Why supermarket fashion is in top shape, says Abby McHale, Fabulous’ deputy fashion editor
I love shopping in the supermarket. Although a number of large supermarkets have gone bankrupt in recent years, the style on the shelves has become increasingly popular.
Now, whenever I go to the supermarket to do my weekly shopping, I always stop by the clothing department to see what’s new.
Not only are the products competitively priced, the supermarkets also respond well to the wishes of their customers.
From basic wardrobe items, quality denim, beautiful dresses to fun accessories, they really have it all.
Nowadays I only buy my jeans in the supermarket. At Sainsbury’s I have Tu’s and at Tesco I have F&F’s.
And for me, there’s no better feeling than when someone compliments you on your outfit and you know it came from the supermarket.
Last week I bought a beautiful black shoulder bag from Sainsbury’s for just £14. Many people said it looked much more expensive.
Working in fashion I get to see and feel a lot of clothes and I can tell you the quality of the pieces from these stores is amazing, especially for the price.
