An ITV race presenter left to steal the pint live from a punt in the air -after almost gagging on “Britain’s hottest chicken wings”.
Former jockey Luke Harvey thought it was tough after he had set himself an unclear challenge while he covered Races in York.
And he couldn’t even get over the obstacle of his first bite.
Harvey then left the viewers astonished with his response.
But one man was even more shocked than armchair observers – that was the punt whose Guinness Harvey grip and depressed!
ITV itself shared a clip of the incident – and admitted that their expert might just have made a bad call.
The broadcaster placed: “Maybe this was a mistake. The most popular chicken wings in Great Britain live on ITV.”
Harvey started it all by approaching a food stall and asking if there were indeed such wings in the country anymore.
The answer included: “That is essentially true … take your safety glasses out!”
But immediately after his first taste, Harvey made a gagging, bent in discomfort and waved his arms as if he panicked.

He immediately stormed to a table with drinkers.
And seeing a possessed man with a full pint, he ordered: “Oi, give me that! Give me that! Give me that!”
He had to demand three times – because the drink holder was not only shocked, he was also resistant to releasing his glass.
Harvey, however, was more determined – while he grabbed it and sank at least a quarter of them in one go.
Fortunately, the owner of Guinness had developed astonished half horses at that stage.
Harvey then staggered while he confirmed his judgment over the wings: “They are hot! They are hot, I tell you.”
He walked further away and got up: “I’m going home”.
But in the end Harvey settled because he stooped over a container in the neighborhood, where he carefully wiped his forehead with a paper towel while still holding his microphone.
He finally received sympathy from his ITV colleagues.
That led to a plea from a Co -Broadcaster: “Oh dear, poor, poor Luke – go and get that man a beer … I think it’s honest to say – pray for Luke.”
One fan responded to X: “Performance of the day: Luke Harvey who sees the ‘journey’ despite sweaty and bolts.”
But another focused on the man who held up his Guinness when he wrote: “It will be £ 8 Quid a pint and a queue of 10 minutes – no wonder he didn’t want to separate from it.”
And a third said about Harvey: “I hope he didn’t design his round on the Guinness.”
In the meantime, many jokes made the racing expert lucky that he knew that the incident was live on TV – or else he might not have gone away with the ‘stealing’ of the beer.
