Jaguar unveils new logo and next-generation electric vehicle ahead of 2026 launch
British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar has unveiled its new corporate logo and preliminary images of its first fully electric car. The redesigned logo represents a departure from the traditional Jaguar emblem, moving from the iconic leaping jaguar silhouette to a more contemporary visual language. This rebrand accompanies the company’s ambitious plan to transition to a fully electric car by 2026.
Design and technical highlights
The prototype, which is expected to be the next generation XF, showcases a distinctive design language. According to the brand’s teased image, the vehicle will have a large front overhang and a compact rear profile. The model is also said to feature signature Jaguar design cues, including a boxy faux grille and striking dual headlights. It is striking that the vehicle is also equipped with door-mounted exterior mirrors.
Strategic transformation
Jaguar’s transformation includes a complete phase-out of combustion engine models, with the brand committing to an all-electric offering. The first electric vehicle is expected to undergo gradual unveiling processes over the coming months, with a comprehensive unveiling planned for 2025 and a market launch planned for 2026.
The company has indicated plans for significant market expansion, including potential manufacturing operations in India. This strategy suggests that the brand should leverage domestic and international markets for its electric vehicle portfolio.
