Jake Paul ‘ACCEPT’ Huge Fight With World Heavyweight Champion, Leaks His DMs With Boxer Who Knocked Down Anthony Joshua

Jake Paul claims he will accept a fight with Daniel Dubois after the IBF world heavyweight champion contacted him via Instagram to offer him a shot at the championship.

The YouTuber-turned-fighter has been getting offers left, right and center since his victory over Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Texas on Friday night.

Paul defeated Tyson – who was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from 1987 to 1990 – by unanimous decision after eight two-minute rounds.

The event – which was broadcast live on Netflix – was the subject of much criticism, largely based on the 31-year age difference between the two men.

However, Paul is said to have made $40 million from the fight against Tyson, while Iron Mike is said to have paid around $20 million for the fight in Arlington, Texas.

Therefore, the combination of the two icons of the boxing world has encouraged contact with Paul – in search of a payday or to put the YouTuber ‘in his place’.

Dubois is the latest boxing icon to call out the 27-year-old, sending Paul an Instagram DM offering him a shot at the world heavyweight title.

Dubois wrote: “Hi Jake, good business this weekend, but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world? Daniel Dubois calls you. Let’s get started’.

Paul responded with a photo of a ticket machine with the word ‘get in line’ before sharing a screenshot of their interaction with the following caption: ‘Man has been boxing for 12 years, has over 100 amateur and pro fights and fought on my undercard …hahaha.

“But f*** it…I’ll let Nakisa talk to Frankie Warren and get you in line for the throne. Unlike Artur, at least you have a few thousand fans.’

Dubois retained his IBF world heavyweight title with a career-defining performance against Anthony Joshua on September 21 at Wembley Stadium.

The self-proclaimed ‘King Slayer’ defeated Joshua four times with a fifth-round knockout in front of a crowd of 98,000 fans.

Fans expected AJ to face Dubois again on February 22, but Eddie Hearn has said Joshua may not be ready in time given the ‘quick turnaround’.

That is why Dubois and his promoter Frank Warren are looking at alternative options – including Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley.

However, it appears Dubois has other ideas and wants to confront the YouTuber-turned-boxer at some point in the future.

Dubois isn’t the only boxing icon Paul has called out. The 27-year-old was also approached by Beterbiev – who recently defeated Dmitry Bivol to win the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO light-heavyweight world champion.

Writing on social media after Friday’s fight, the current king of that 175-pound division indicated he would be willing to put his belt on the line against the YouTuber turned boxer.

He wrote: ‘@jakepaul what can you do in the ring against the current undisputed champion? Just know that I’m always open to suggestions.”

Former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch also took to social media to call out Paul, writing: ‘I will tie one arm behind my back and finish you for good.’

To which Paul responded: ‘F***ing sour loser. Shut your mouth. I’ve done more in four years than you have in your life. First and last time I respond to your broken salty a**. Let me know if you want to wash my cars.’

Froch was less than impressed with Paul’s response and snapped back, “Listen, Jakey, boy… I’ve been retired for eleven years, haven’t had a round of boxing in over ten years, I’m old, gray and not in shape. But I would still give your wife the best night of her life! I bet she dreams about a real man.

“Let me know if you still want your cars washed, she can let me in through The Back Door. PS, I’d knock you out in 30 seconds, you’re useless.’

Froch won 33 of his 35 professional fights and retired from boxing in 2014 after back-to-back victories over fierce rival George Groves.

While he may not be keen on fighting Froch, Paul did admit that he was interested in taking on current super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez before Dubois was drafted.

“Canelo needs me, so I’m not even going to try to take him out,” Paul said after beating Tyson. He knows he wants a payday. So he knows where the money man is…

‘He wants a payday and I want to show the world everything [stuff] I’ve talked about how beating Canelo is true and I’m going to pull off the biggest upset in boxing history.

‘We will fight to really see who the face is [of boxing] because after this event I am going to claim it.”
