Jamie Carragher has criticized Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison for showboating during their 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

But with just five minutes left of the game, Richarlison started holding goalkeepers in the Nottingham Forest half before being knocked out by Brennan Johnson.

And Sky Sports co-commentator Carragher was less than impressed with the Brazilian’s antics in the game’s dying embers.

He said, ‘Wow! It excites people. You can’t. But what does he do?

It is not the first meeting between Carragher and former Everton forward Richarlison.

After the pundit criticized the Brazilian last season, the 25-year-old took to social media to call out the ex-Liverpool defender.

“@Carra23 wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I disrespect you,” Richarlison tweeted, followed by the laughing poop emoji.

Carragher seemed to crush the bickering when he replied: ‘I actually quite like this, if Twitter was over when I was a player I’m sure I would have called out a lot of experts!!’

But it remains to be seen how the pundits’ latest comments will turn out with the Tottenham forward.
