Jason famously played the role of Joseph at the London Palladium in the early 90s, which made him loved by the British public.

The role even saw him nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award in 1992.

Outside of a performance in 2007, Jason hasn’t slipped back into the standout jacket since his days on stage 30 years ago.

Other performers on Party at the Palace were a mix of legends and younger singers, including Rod Stewart, Mabel and Craig David.

Motown legend Diana Ross, who performed in Britain for the first time in 15 years, was a star attraction at the event, which had an estimated 22,000 people.

The event will be held on a purpose-built 360-degree stage outside the Queen’s residence in central London.
