Jawan was injured in IED and set off Maoist blast in Chhattisgarh
RAIPUR: A District Reserve Guard (DRG) jaw was injured in a push IED planted by Maoists exploded during a patrol in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma Sunday.
A joint team of the armed forces had left from a security camp in Chintalnar region when a jawan accidentally stepped on an IED, triggering the blast around 11 am. Podiyam Vinod was rushed to a hospital due to leg injuries before being flown to Raipur. His condition was stable. tnn
