A regular customer called the oil “liquid gold.”
“I’ve been using Bio-Oil since 2016. I wasn’t sure what to use it for because I hadn’t heard of it for pregnancy in years, and it helped with stretch marks,” she says.
“I don’t know if that works, but I thought I [would] lighten a few dark spots, a few on my face, a few on my neck.
“I haven’t missed a day since that day. I always use it after shaving and never have any problems.”
She explained that her dark spots started to fade within a few months of daily use.
“By then I was already addicted. [I] use it all over my body. I have noticed some changes in the formula over the years.
Others agreed that the oil made a big difference in preventing stretch marks.
“I used this during my pregnancy to reduce the chance of stretch marks,” said one reviewer.
“I used it religiously every night. I think it worked because I got maybe one small stretch mark.”
While they didn’t necessarily understand the price of the oil, they did say it was money well spent.
Dermatologist-Approved Anti-Aging Tips
Dermatologist Dr. Brendan Camp shared his dermatologist-approved tips with The US Sun.
- Stop using tanning beds.
- Do not use sunscreen to contour your face.
- Wear riding gloves to protect your hands from the sun. He loves Coolibar Gannett UV Gloves UPF 50+$15.99 to $39.
- Exercise, eat healthy and make sure you get enough sleep.
- Don’t drink too much and don’t smoke.
“It’s a little pricey to use every day. But I think it was worth it,” she said.
Another fan said the oil reduced her “homemade” stretch marks.
“Last year I had a tough year and ate so much that I got ugly stretch marks from the rapid water weight gain,” he says.
“I thought I had ruined my body with permanent scars, and at a fairly young age (late 20s, male). Luckily I tried this Bio-Oil before I went to the dermatologist and requested skin surgery.
The Top 5 Habits of Young-Looking People
Dr. Michael Aziz, an internist and author of the upcoming book The Ageless Revolution, revealed five habits of youthful-looking people.
“Adopting these healthy habits can have a significant impact on how your skin looks as you age,” Doctor Aziz told The US Sun.
“They are simple yet effective, unlike expensive creams or invasive procedures that may not provide lasting results and can potentially damage the skin.”
- Avoid exposure to the sun and UV rays as these can seriously damage the skin.
- Avoid smoking as smoking generates free radicals which are harmful to the skin.
- Get enough sleep as this improves blood flow to the skin and makes it look better.
- Maintain a healthy lifestyle, with a diet rich in vegetables, fruits and fish, and manage stress effectively.
- Prioritize skin care, including using a high SPF sunscreen daily, moisturizing after washing, and exfoliating regularly.
“The Bio-Oil really works! After just a month of applying it after showering (usually once a day), I’m actually starting to notice a reduction in the redness and severity of my stretch marks.
“I still have a long way to go, but the fact that this helps makes me so grateful.”
