Jharkhand exit poll results 2024: Most BJP projects win; 1 predicts a clean sweep for Hemant Soren | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Most exit polls on Wednesday predicted in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the assembly elections in Jharkhand. However, Axis My India has predicted a victory for Hemant Soren under the leadership of JMM.
According to Matrize exit polls, the NDA is projected to win 42 to 47 seats, while the JMM-led INDIA bloc is expected to win 25 to 30 seats in the 81-seat assembly.
The Peoples Pulse exit poll predicted 44-53 seats for the NDA coalition, while 25-37 seats were allocated for the INDIA alliance.
The Times Now-JVC survey showed that the NDA secured 40 to 44 seats, while it was expected to win 30 to 40 seats.
According to P-Marq’s exit poll for Jharkhand, the NDA is expected to win between 31 and 40 seats, while the INDIA bloc is expected to secure between 37 and 47 seats. Other parties are predicted to win between 1 and 6 seats in the assembly.
However, the Axis My India has predicted a victory for the JMM-led coalition, which is expected to win 53 seats, while the NDA is expected to secure 25 seats.

In the 2019 Jharkhand elections, the UPA, comprising the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, won 46 seats, while the BJP won 25 seats.
