Lennon says that “the common thread that ties the book together [titled Life’s Fragile Moments and currently available to pre-order]is the vulnerability in the faces of the people and the fragile state of nature in the landscapes and clouds.’

About his style of photography, the Europe-based artist says: ‘It’s difficult to put a label on your own style… I just try to approach each photo with authenticity and honesty.

“I always want the atmosphere to reflect what I saw at that moment, so that others can experience it in a similar, organic way.”

Although Lennon has been exhibiting and selling his photography for many years, this is his first book of fine art photography.

Uitgeverij teNeues considers it ‘an excellent coffee table book that shows complex, diverse sides of his creative mind’ and a ‘must-have for every collector.’

In addition to visual material, the book contains “moving” text in which Lennon offers a “personal insight into his inspiration.”

While the photographer says it’s “impossible” to choose a favorite photo, he says he has “a special place in my heart” for several of them.

One of Lennon’s most beloved photographs is one titled “Hope,” which he took in 2014 during a charity trip with his non-profit organization, Witte Veer Foundationto Ethiopia.

For the cover of the book, Lennon chose a candid photo in which he photographs Princess Charlene of Monaco from behind, as she looks at herself in the mirror.

The photo, titled ‘Charlene Wittstock #14’ and taken in 2011, was one of many photographs Lennon took of the then-princess, literally 10 minutes before her civil wedding.

After working on his photo book for months, Lennon is now looking forward to a music release this summer, “and a photography exhibition in Europe, which will be announced very soon.”

He adds, “After that, my main focus will be on completing my upcoming memoir.”
