Kamala’s stepdaughter Ella Emhoff causes concern with a huge cry over Trump’s election win
Ella Emhoff continued her emotional breakdown following the loss of her stepmother Kamala Harris in the presidential election by sharing an unflattering image of herself on her Instagram.
The 25-year-old activist and fashion designer used an image from Harris’ concession speech at Howard University on Wednesday as she urged her 500,000 followers to stay strong after Donald Trump’s landslide victory.
“Really no words,” Emhoff captioned the post. ‘We will all get through this. It fucking hurts right now, and that’s okay.”
Days earlier, Emhoff made headlines as she struggled to control her emotions during Harris’ speech and broke down in tears.

The activist and fashion designer, 25, then continued her emotional breakdown over the loss of her stepmother Kamala Harris in the presidential election by sharing an unflattering image of herself on her Instagram.
Her tears and subsequent post sparked concern online.
“Leave Ella Emhoff alone, but don’t ignore the mental health issues we have in America,” someone wrote on X.
“Ella Emhoff needs to learn to grow up and accept reality,” another added.
“Leave Ella Emhoff out of this!” One person insisted. “She’s crying because her stepmother lost an election. Show support.”
Emhoff’s following grew significantly during her stepmother’s vice presidency and presidential candidacy, when she became known for her liberal activism and trendy fashion choices.
On Friday, Emhoff mobilized her supporters as she urged Democrats to unite and fight Trump’s impending second term.
“The fight doesn’t stop now,” she wrote. “Please come and see your people right now.
“Now is the time to organize, mobilize and make a difference in your communities, big or small.”
She signed off the post: “I’m here for you all and love you.”

“I know we’re all feeling a lot of emotions right now. That’s normal, and it would be strange if it weren’t. I know I’ve been through about ten cycles of sadness, anger, and stress – and that was just this morning.
‘I think it’s important to feel them all so they don’t fester inside.
“One way I always make myself feel better is by turning that anger and sadness into creativity. I know that doesn’t apply to everyone. It can be really hard to create when things feel so uncertain.”
Harris waited until 4pm ET the day after the election to deliver her concession speech.
“To my beloved Doug and our family, I love you very much,” she told the crowd gathered at her alma mater, Howard University.
