Kate Ritchie looks worse as she falls from her car seat and has to be helped by her driver for a night out in Sydney
EXCLUSIVE
Kate Ritchie looked noticeably worse for wear on Saturday afternoon as she was spotted heading to an event in Sydney.
The former Home and Away star, 45, was spotted tripping as she tried to get out of her chauffeur-driven car in Camperdown, 2.5 miles from the city’s CBD.
The Nova radio presenter appeared to lose her balance as she got out of the car, sliding back into her footwell and landing on the ground.
Kate’s driver quickly helped her out of the car. He held the clutch and picked up her keys from the ground. He then helped her back into the car.
The radio star seemed to see the humor in it, as she laughed with her driver while holding her phone.
Kate looked casual in a relaxed co-ord set consisting of a loose shirt and wide trousers from Olive & Clover.
She completed her look with a pair of brown Zimmerman mules worth $875.
But Kate’s night seemed to end early.

Shortly after, she was seen returning to her car and being driven home.
Once there, Kate stepped out of the rental car barefoot and said goodbye to her driver.
She was then seen trying to open the garage door, before eventually entering the property.
Shortly before leaving for the event, Kate was photographed standing outside her home in her pajamas.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Kate’s representative for comment.
The appearance comes after Ritchie returned to her acting roots last week, when she was spotted filming scenes for a brand new ABC series.
The beloved star arrived on set looking nonchalant to film the five-part series The Role Of A Lifetime with comedian Nazeem Hussain.
The new ABC and Screen Australia series is hosted by TV favourite Amanda Keller and explores the challenges facing parents in today’s fast-changing world.
Ritchie and 39-year-old comedian Nazeem play the parents and act out real family situations, adding an engaging and comedic edge to the factual programme.
The show, produced by Dreamchaser, will also feature insightful parental guidance from podcaster and author Maggie Dent.
The program aims to give millions of parents and caregivers the tools and confidence to cope with challenges.
Ritchie herself is a devoted mother to her beloved nine-year-old daughter Mae, whom she shares with ex-husband Stuart Webb.
She married the former NRL star at the Quamby Estate in Tasmania in 2010 after a year-long engagement, but the couple split in 2020.

Ritchie is trying to get her life back on track after her shocking DUI charge in August 2022.
Last year she revealed that she had sought professional help after being over the drink drive when she was pulled over by police for a random breath test.
The former soap star told The Sunday Telegraph that in 2022, after struggling with several personal challenges, she decided it was time to seek help.
“It took a long time. I sought professional help, the help I needed. Sometimes it’s enough,” she said at the time.
‘Life has presented me with challenges in recent years, but I am not alone in this. I have been fortunate enough to be able to take the time.
Ritchie showed a reading of 0.06, slightly over the legal limit, when she was stopped by police for a random breath test in her station wagon in Pagewood at 2:45 p.m. on August 22, 2022.
She was fined $600, given a three-month driving ban and apologized on Instagram.
“I recently took a random breath test,” she wrote. “Although it was a mild breath test, the test came back positive.
“I made a bad decision and I understand without a doubt the gravity of my actions. I am truly sorry.”
In October 2022, Ritchie announced that she would be quitting her radio show, after which it was revealed that she was undergoing treatment at an exclusive rehabilitation clinic in Sydney.
In December of that year, Daily Mail Australia broke the news that Ritchie had been admitted to an exclusive private psychiatric facility in Sydney to treat her alcohol addiction.
She said in a statement at the time that the past year had been challenging and stressful, leading to an “unhealthy dependency on alcohol.”
