What does a facelift entail?
A FACELIFT, also called a rhytidectomy, involves lifting and retracting the skin of the face to make it look tighter and smoother.
While people often get a facelift to reduce wrinkles on their face, it can also have a huge impact on the neck and can completely remove the “jowls.”
It’s not cheap though, as you can expect to pay up to around £10,000 for a face and neck lift in the UK. NHS.
The procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia and can take up to three hours depending on what is being done.
Patients may stay in the hospital overnight after the facelift, which can result in a painful recovery time afterwards.
“I wish someone like Kim Kardashian would say, ‘Yes, I had a deep plane facelift at 35. And this is the guy who did it.’
“And he even charged me $800,000.”
“And then I say, ‘Okay, that’s the guy. But I don’t have $800,000!’
“I only wish that.”
