Katie Boulter has offered tennis fans a hint about the future of its doubles with Emma Raducanu After the partnership debuted at Queen this week – before her partner sent a targeted message to the court.

“To be honest, it was actually a real challenge for me today, because I am not used to playing double, and I lost the game yesterday, and I was really upset, and I really felt that I was out of this tournament,” Raducanu said after the game.

After their match in the first round, both Boulter and Raducanu were exuberant about their budding partnership, in which the latter emphasized how much the double experience of the former hair had put at ease.
“I was actually very nervous before the competition,” said Raducanu. “I don’t know if Katie can see it. But probably more nervous than the singles, because I just didn’t really know what to do, but I am really happy once we got there.
“Katie made sure that I felt so comfortable, and I’m just so happy to win a victory on the board.”
