DEHRADUN: BJP has regained Kedarnath assembly seat in a decisive bypoll victory, a crucial test of the party's political strength Uttarakhandwith Asha Nautiyal polling 23,814 (44.5%) votes to defeat Manoj Rawat of Congress with 5,622 (34%) votes, reports Kautilya Singh.The victory comes as a big relief for BJP, which lost Badrinath meeting bypoll to the Congress in July, a month after a defeat in Faizabad (which includes Ayodhya) in the LS polls.
